Today's lessons, in chronological order:
1. It is quite difficult to go faster than 30km/h on my Masi
2. I don't know the area east of the Princes hwy (Tempe, St Peters, etc) very well. At all.
3. Bike route signs in aforementioned area are full of filthy, filthy lies.
4. I don't share well with pedestrians.
5. Riding fast over roughish terrain results in sore elbows.
That distance includes the ride to and from piccolo for awesome breakfasts, and a nice longish cycle down the Cooks river cycleway, all over the goddamn place in Alexandria because I got hopelessly late, then home via Newtown and Glebe.
