  1. I'm going to try again. I'm starting a C25K program today. Praying that the plantar fasciitis stays away this time.

      Glad to see you back. My primary goal this year was to not get injured and to not try to be a tough guy and push through pain. Best of luck and I look forward to seeing you progress!

    Thought I would get in a walk before the sun got too hot.....and it was really heating up when I got close to home. But it was nice to get some distance in, even if it was just walking.

      Sorry to hear that you are still having foot issues. I assume since you have orthotics that you have a good pair of shoes. Did you have the orthotics with you when you got your shoes? If yes then I can say that inline skating is lots of fun and I've skated the paths near Tunney's many times. There's some dodging of pedestrians but usually it's not too bad.

      Thanks. I've been wearing Orthotics for a few months now and I wear them all day, even in the house. But I didn't have them when I bought this last pair of shoes. Since I'll buy new shoes again next year maybe they'll be better then.

      But there really is lack of bike or inline "events". Everything is running. :(

      Yeah, at one time they had an inline skating race during the Ottawa Race Weekend but don't know if it was more than the one time as I wasn't running at that time.

    Ran first 3 then walked to the end. Feet ached at 2 km.
