      no, only 1 guy in this class. but in the power class I take there are relatively a lot of guys in the class (about 10 in a class of 25).

      ok, so it's not just me who this would bother. I'm glad y'all agree that it was inappropriate. I've been doing yoga for a few years and I have never seen anyone bring their cellphone into class, much less use it during class. I think I will ask the instructor to ask people to leave their phones in the cubbies during class.

      I agree...I'm shocked the instructor didn't ask them to leave or put the phones away.

      I don't understand why people do this in fitness classes. If you don't want to put the work in, just don't go. In an endurance spin class I used to take in my old gym there were these two girls who used to leave their tension on low, chat & text through a 120 minute class.
