  1. I've been using Garmin Connect instead of DM, because it's so easy with my new watch…and I'll start using Training Peaks for next season with a coach, so I'm not sure how much I... read more

Swimming short course--worked bilateral breathing, taking more strokes between breaths, some kicking, some pulling, some sprints. I emailed the Masters class that meets during my normal morning wor... read more

    ABsolution! Med ball day! Woo!

  4. FIT
    good 01:15

MMA! We did some good high-low/low-high drills--attack (or fake) high, he blocks it, attack low, etc. Then some ways of getting up from the ground when you have someone in your guard.

  5. swim
    good 1700 m 01:00 56:48 pace

Did NOT want to get up today, but I did it. Less than a month to my half Ironman…definitely ready to race and relax for a while. :) PUSHING THROUGH IT.

    ABsolution! Good times.

  9. FIT
    great 01:15

MMA! Boxing footwork and punching drills, so we got a decent workout.

  10. RUN
    good 11 mi 02:20 12:43 pace

Good miles yesterday, and my moving time was better than overall--I had so many headphone issues and had to stop to fix them over and over. I'm glad music is illegal at the half IM.

  11. VELO
    great 32.12 mi 02:18 14.0mph pace

I love rest weeks. And that the Loop by itself, with no run after, feels like a rest week ride. :) Next week, I get to ride 60 miles, eep!

  12. swim
    great 1950 yd 01:01 54:51 pace

Short course swim! I added some kicking laps and pull laps, but mostly freestyled it.

  13. FIT
    great 00:30

Absolution! A few of us gals moved up from the 6-lb medball to the 8-lb med ball. Woo!

  14. FIT
    great 01:00

MMA! We did very practical scenarios: what to do when punched or grabbed in various ways from behind.
    1. Punched in the back of the head from behind: realistically, you're in trouble. But, if ... read more

  15. RUN
    good 4.5 mi 00:53 11:51 pace

I am DEAD tired. Got out there barely in enough time to finish before I had to get ready for work, but the run itself was nice. :)

Good job for being that tired! Work really gets in the way of run things!

  19. RUN
    alright 1.7 km 01:03

Long course pool swim: I was so tired and about 40seconds/100m slower than in the lake on Saturday. Oh well, I got the time in.

  20. RUN
    great 2 mi 00:24 11:45 pace

Brick PART II: immediately after the Cochiti swim, two of us ran part of the Toughman course. Giant hill straight up out of transition will sTINK.
