    Headwind for 2 miles tired me out. Left calf tightened up into a ball, so called the 4 mile run early. Helicopters flying over head with lots of fire truck & squad car.

    After a failed 3 mile run a few days ago, I threw down 4 miles in a slow but constant pace. Very surprised how muscle memory is factoring in my running after taking almost a year off.

    First day back running since May 2011. It was weird, but it felt great to be back. Body is very stiff, but the legs miss this so much.

    Lungs aren't there yet, but the legs are warming up better than I expected.
