5K race that a runner behind me said was not measured right, so I'm putting 3.27 miles instead of 3.1. Course is point-to-point, and generally downhill after a few gentle slopes in the first mile, so it's fast.
Crisp, sunny weather, so I ran in long-sleeve and warmup pants and gloves... not all necessary, but didn't want to sweat check.
5:58 first mile, 141 HR (meter didn't register for first bit)
5:49 second mile, 11:48 cumulative, 173 HR
6:07 third mile (maybe 1.1?), 17:55 cumulative, 175 HR
:48 for last bit, 180 HR
Think I finished ~11th place. Will check later.
Happy with race after a brutal week of exercise, especially yesterday's ride.
