First run in 3 weeks. Joined Billy and crew for tempo run. Warmed up for 14:37 jogging over to the start, slowly. Then 4 miles in 26:40, aiming for 6:40-6:50 pace. Started with a 6:50, and then brought it down. Last mile of the four was 6:23. I then called it a morning and jogged home in a bit over 8 minutes while Billy did another 4 mile piece. But, writing this the morning after, I'm glad I restrained myself and I'm only a little bit sore instead of a lot sore.
The pace was very manageable, aerobically, but need to do a bit more frequent running if I want the muscles to avoid overreacting.
