good Polo Fields (paceline & leadouts) 23.4 mi 01:19 17.8mph pace

New chain on the Scott, and fresh off a major tuneup at SportsBasement, headed out to Polo Fields for Wed morning to join what turned out to be a big crew of Dolce Vita folks for paceline and some sprint lead-outs.

Not as much work as my usual intervals, but some good brief speed work here and there. Was doing a 2nd bleacher sprint when I stood up and felt things crunk. Turned out the crank slipped on my left pedal. I got myself home, slowly, and took the bike back to SportsBasement to get fixed again.

Disappointing, but good to have things cleared up before racing twice this weekend.
