As Chrissie says in the session - Every time you do this workout you will learn something new! Today's lesson was something sooo obvious that I often over look it. The rotary motion of the legs involves a pull upward, with the quads, as well as a pull down with the hamstrings. I decided that during today's pyramid workout I would concentrate on pulling with the hamstrings for the ascent of the pyramid then pull up, with the quads, on the descent. Concentrating on this pulling up action was a real revelation! Almost as hard as doing single legs drills. I'll try to remember this next time I do one of these sessions. Hopefully they'll help make me faster :)
