    Too warm to run outside --> treadmill (yuck). Next time, I'm waking up earlier to hit the pavement.

    Why oh why do I feel so slow on the treadmill?! For me, running on the TM is SO MUCH HARDER than hitting the road. Maybe it's the scenery that keeps me going, but this run kind of sucked.

      I think treadmill runs are hard too. I used to use them for speed work....don't use them at all now. :-P

      Treadmills are ok for those days or places where you can't get out, but otherwise it's outside for me'

      TMs are a necessary evil sometimes, especially around here. It's easier with distractions, like iPods or TVs. I'd almost always choose take it outside if the pavement is dry & its not too cold...

      Fun is not the word! It's monotonous (and dizzy) - I'm in need of more time in the morning to head out further from my house... and new run destinations! And it's probably one of the best bagels I've eaten - after the 1/2!

      Yes.. My advice is enjoy it. Understand what it is doing for you. The wheels will heal during taper and make you ready to go for race day.

    A little colder this morning, which made things a little more challenging. Running without an ipod can make runs seem long, but in this case it gave me the opportunity to focus in on my breathing.
