Swim Lesson #4
00:30
Did a lap freestyle and the instructor said she had nothing to say - then asked me to do a lap doing the backstroke - just need to work on keeping my chin up. Then we went into the breast stroke - here's my challenge: coordination. See, running is easy. Freestyle seems natural. Breast stroke requires coordination between legs and arms. My weakness. So I have more work to do - but she says once I have it, I'll have it. I just need to get it. :-)

The more you practice the easier it gets! :)

That's great Pam. Freestyle is pretty hard so if you're able to do that stroke then you're there!! Breaststroke is best learned on your back first so you understand the leg rhythm... Great job!!

I look funny and awkward doing the breaststroke too Pam. Totally understand. Awesome session my friend.

Nice! It takes some time, but it is worth it. Swimming is awesome cross training. It will all feel natural to you soon enough and then it is like riding a bike....you never really forget how to swim each stroke.

Nice swim lesson. Wow, #4 already? My first one, from a friend who does long distance open water swims with Navy Seals, is tomorrow, and I'm nervous!

What a great idea to take lessons. Not only will your strokes improve, but I bet you will be a lot more efficient!
