Pam soooo... forgot to me...

Track and share your training!

Dailymile makes it easy to keep track of your workouts. Map your routes and share with a community of active people.

Soooo... Forgot to mention last night that on my way home from work, I stopped by the Aquatics Fitness Center and signed up for a block of half-hour private lessons. I start next Wednesday and have 5 of my 8 lessons scheduled this month. Does this count as trying to spend less on running? :-)

Which AFC? And it depends on what kind of lessons we're talking about. Great club though.... I used to belong.

Patrick - it's on Grant Ave near Academy Road. I wanted to learn how to swim "properly" if that makes sense. I can sort of swim now - just don't have any idea what I'm doing, and these were advertised as being for 'all ages and abilities'. Hoping to learn as much as I can.

And one of the things I hope to learn is how to do a better job at SCHEDULING as you do and Todd, Stephanie, Mab13, and any triathlete or any athlete who's already doing WAY more than I am!

That's awesome. Kristen F. swims there and they have a great masters team and coach who have helped her swimming tremendously. Also, as a triathlete, I think that multisporting is awesomely fun, but also a great way to avoid over use injuries. More power to you and yes it does count as spending less on running. Soon you might be adding the title of triathlete to your profile.

That is great!!! One of my lifetime goals is to learn how to swim properly. And to jump in without freaking out about drowning. I'm so excited for you!

I have friends who swim there (not on DM) & say it's a great facility with good instructors/coaches. This is so awesome that you're taking this on!!

Great idea, Pam! I have a friend who is an amazing open water swimmer who plans to teach me to swim more efficiently. I agree, great cross-training to allow your ankle/hamstrink to heal, plus a way to escape the heat.
