  3. RUN
    good TM 3.3 mi 00:38 11:30 pace

An hour of strength training followed by a little TM and then 10 mins on the elliptical. I'm ready for a recovery beer.

  4. RUN
    good TM 3.33 mi 00:39 11:43 pace

Just a slow trot on the TM to get the legs moving

  5. RUN
good Weekend run 12.83 mi 02:08 10:00 pace

Nice and cool out. Ran a hilly course on the dirt roads near home. Didn't feel like I had much energy so it was good to get this one done.

  6. RUN
    TM 4 mi 00:47 11:42 pace

    <yawn>

  7. RUN
    good TM 4.65 mi 00:49 10:26 pace

Enjoyed the TM time today more than usual. Just mixed up elevation and speed to keep it interesting.

  8. RUN
    good TM 6.18 mi 01:09 11:14 pace

Feeling sluggish. Just needed to go slow on the TM while watching TV to combat hibernation mode.

  9. RUN
good Long run Sat 15.44 mi 02:36 10:05 pace

Good solo run. A little cold at 7am but not too bad. Need to calibrate this suunto quest, it said 16.02 but the DM map has it at 15.44. Personally the stats at 16.02 are nicer :)

  10. RUN
good Lunch run 7.2 mi 01:09 09:34 pace

Nice to get out and run outside for a change

  11. RUN
    good TM 2.5 mi 00:29 11:32 pace

just more of my daily tread miles....going to be my standard I think during hibernation season

    • Andy O.

You should move your kegerator in front of your treadmill. Motivating! Good run.

NOT! That kegerator is the reason I still have my hibernation layers from last winter! I may have to change my DM goal to "Run for beer"

I've been thinking more of your suggestion on a run streak. Not sure I'm ready for that yet but I can definitely see how there would be huge benefits in at least getting in a mile each day.

It did allow me to get my mileage up and get in the mindset of running even when I mentally didn't feel like it. Also taught me that I can run through little aches and pains. I had to stop though because I wasn't recovering quickly enough as I ramped up my mileage. I can see doing another streak again though.

Well, if I knew you had still planned on doing the JFK this Saturday, I wouldn't have motivated you. :-P Nice, easy taper run though. Good Luck and tell your buddy, Michael Wardian, the same!

Nice 7.5 on the TM. TM miles are valued at a 3x multiplier. So, you really ran 22.5 miles! Way to go and good luck this weekend.
