    great Ride 40 mi 02:15 17.8mph pace

Rode out through Manayunk and took Forbidden Drive back through the city. Good hard ride. Harder to do these day before dark!

good Morning Swim 1800 yd 00:36 35:12 pace

Felt pretty good in the second half, but starting the hundred pushups plan right before maybe slowed me down a little. 10-10-8-6-40

  4. I'm just using it to keep track of my swimming workouts, and maybe some bike rides. I'd log the masonry work I did today, but there's no "mixing and troweling 400 pounds of cement by hand&quo... read more

Good luck and have fun with the 6 week pushup challenge. Tomorrow I start day one of week 5. Only two more weeks left for me.

good Morning Swim 1800 yd 00:35 34:13 pace

Decent swim this morning with no competition for lanes. I can live with a 35 minute pace for the 1800, but my goal is to be able to churn out 2600 in 45 minutes.

    Bicycle Commute 9.6 mi 00:50 11.5mph pace

No problems on the commute. Enjoying new higher-pressure 1.25 inch tires.

My trusty dusty commuter halfway home on the Gray's Ferry bridge.

Nice, is that titanium or steel?

Hah, it's very very steel. I should have added "rusty" in the description...It's an old KHS mountain bike frame I've adapted for touring and commuting.

alright Morning Swim 1800 yd 00:35 34:13 pace

That hurt a little. Shaved a little more time off the 1800, but didn't get enough sleep last night.

My daily commute. It's not the shortest route by distance, but it avoids the awful traffic on the major east-west routes. 4.8 miles and about 25 minutes each way.

good Morning Swim 1800 yd 00:36 35:12 pace

Shaved a minute or so off my time for 1800. Stretched a little better before an after. Not much arm-strength left for 100 pushups.

  12. swim
good Morning Swim 1800 yd 00:37 36:10 pace

A little creaky in the first 10 laps but smoothed out the rest of the way. Lane lines were out, so I had to eyeball it.
