    great Errand walk 01:00

Triple errand walk with Eric and Ella joining in. Covered the post office, the Library (the kids favorite) and the bank. A beautiful way to get some time on my feet and ease work for the legs.

  5. RUN

Mid foot strike is the way to go, in my opinion. Newton shoes were very helpful to me in making the transition. There are several good resources on mid-foot running, including Natural Running by Danny Abshire and Chi Running by Danny Dreyer.

Personally I would be very careful and take any kind of transition just little at a time.

In the Newton line, the Sir Isaac is the best one for starting the transition. They're a little pricey, but I believe they are well worth it. I just ordered new pair of the Gravity (intermediate) to use once I resume running after Pittsburgh.
