      WOULDN'T HAVE MADE THOSE LAST 4 WITHOUT YOU! So happy we synced up at the end, wouldn't have it any other way. I treated myself to a huge breakfast, and a chocolate milk...race day I need a bagel to hold me over during the run.

    Started out at a good pace, but bonked on the second loop of this two loop course. "Murder Hill" was pretty challenging as were the switchbacks. Not my best half-marathon time.

    Beautiful conditions for open water swimming at Brighton Beach today. The main objective today was to practice my sighting. I think it went well and I fell into a good rhythm of swimming and sighting.

    Felt good up until about mile 15 when the downpour and winds came through. Made the last few miles a little more challenging running in wet shoes - but the rain did feel nice.

    Nice run along the coast of Rockaway Beach, Oregon with my hood to coast teammates. Walking barefoot in the water was a nice ice bath for my tired feet:)
