Boy am I glad that's over. Cold and windy. Did I say cold? And windy? Right on my PR half marathon pace, but 4 minutes slower than my last 15K. I had 3 goals in mind and ended up just beating my 3rd one. Ah well, I lived to tell about it, all digits in tact and can now focus on the Point Bock 5 miler and sticking to the tri training.

I only hit one goal too: don't die. :) Great job today and thanks for sticking around at the finish line to cheer for me.

Ohhhh.... Oshkosh hard? (That's the race that ate my hip last year.) You did great. I thought about you yesterday. It was cold just to be alive yesterday, let alone running for 9+ miles. I have to admit that I wasn't feeling quite as bad about not running when I saw the weather. (Selfish of me, but true.) Still, that's a really nice course and it does feel like a major accomplishment when you make it through something THAT hard. You should feel good about that!

Kim B, not selfish! I was thinking hmmmm, I kinda wanted to bail, but I still wanted to get a longish run in. I decided I might as well run with some other crazy people and wanted to meet up with Jennifer W. and Krystal anyway so might as well suck it up and go. I felt like it was Oshkosh hard in my level of output to get to the finish line and due to the crappy weather.
