Started yesterday with my nephew at Cuivre Island and paddled 4miles and set up camp on Two Branch Island. This was the first time I used my hammock and it was great! No stiff back or hip pointers from the hard ground. Slept like a baby, and felt refreshed in the morning.
We started out this morning and paddled down to Columbia Bottoms. Going through the lock and dam was pretty cool. We got dropped 14feet! After that the river was pretty slow and I was in the doldrums and just wanted to be done. After 9hours on the water I feel like I am moving sitting here on the couch.
