great SRT 35.09 mi 01:43 20.4mph pace

First time I ever averaged over 20 mph for the Port Royal to Port Providence and back ride. Chatted with a young kid for a few miles. He explained to me that since taking up cycling, he's been riding about 400 miles per week. He was probably about 19, but still, who does that? Weather was great, a few muddy portions of the trail, and I almost wrecked after a bee got caught in my helmet and I went off the trail a bit, but I pulled a solid recovery out of my back pocket.

@ramsey, and I'm sure you took the elevator up all those hills on Sunday.
@andrea, thanks, I remember those days. I used to spend three hours a day at the gym. If only I knew then what I know now, I'd have been a pretty badass dude.

Nice ride! Good evasion of the bee, I think I'd have done a little more than going off the trail.

Maybe that kid is bad at math. I thought clocking in crazy mileage was for old married guys. Nice recovery on the bee!! Too bad there is no video of that ;)

I have a friend who does cross country rides for charity and clocks something like 65-90 miles/day but he takes rest days even then. And he's a professional, and not 19. I hope he's just bad at math. GOOD JOB on your ride though. You're unstoppable.
