Won 2nd place overall female. Lost 1st by 30 seconds or so. Think I could have done better but I was out at a winery last night and didn't get to sleep til 1. Considering all that I am happy with my performance. Watch for pics of the trophy :)

  2. good11 miles at Austintown Park 11 mi / 01:45 09:32 pace

Nice easy pace. Did about 60-70% on the trails and grass and rest on the paved roads. felt good to be off pavement although my ankles are feeling the trails a little. I was hoping to get in 13+ but have a 5k race tomorrow so can't have dead legs or my ... read more

Glad you were able to get a long run in on a race weekend, seems like you've recovered from your nagging injuries?

  6. good5 mile recovery run albeit hills 5 mi / 00:42 08:24 pace

was supposed to do a long run today but after the race yesterday and with the nasty rain I could only bring myself to do a 5-miler although it was a hilly 5 miles and better than nothing. I had the runner's high the first mile or two, which was awesome... read more

  8. goodSt Malachi 5 mile race 5 mi / 00:38 07:38 pace

Tough hilly race in Cleveland flats. Very fun though even though it ends uphill! A couple minutes off where I wanted to be but not too bad I guess for two weeks in a row of tough hilly races.

  9. R & R tonite before tomorrow's 5-mile race in Cleveland. It's been a terrible week. My boyfriend and I split up and I moved back to my house. I'm just looking forward to being around friends and runners and not feeling sorry for myself for at least... read more

Pam, no worries. This happens to people all the time, you are not alone. It sucks at first and then it is like a switch one day and everything is fine.

Keep your chin up, you are a great catch.

      ;-)
