Per dr orders just did a slow easy 1.5 miles on the exercise bike. I'm going to try to do that several times a day now. It's just too hard trying to sleep at night without doing any workouts. Must... read more

  2. Decided not to go back to cycling or swimming until M is available to help water the plants and feed the animals if I mess up my foot. I'll just work on foot exercises & exercycling and weight... read more

  3. Today I was finally able to put on my running shoes. The swelling from the surgery has gone down enough that if I don't pull the laces tight, I can put the shoe on and tie the laces. It feels soo... read more

    good 75 deg in March, 1st ride of ... 5.97 mi 00:38 9.5mph pace

wow, cycling uses the leg muscles in a different way than running. It felt good though. I'll have to do more cycling this year.

  8. RUN
alright 70 deg afternoon run 2.09 mi 00:30 14:20 pace

Still stiff from all that yard work on Saturday. It was more just a good way to spend time with my hubby. :)

  9. walk
alright Rounds the block 4.06 mi 01:02 15:17 pace

My Garmin was dead, my iPhone app died, so obviously I was just supposed to relax and enjoy the walk, which I did.

    good Yard Work 05:00

I'm sorry but 5 hours of raking, weeding and picking up branches constitutes as a workout. The squats, knee bends & arm pulls definately will create sore muscles.

  11. RUN
    good 30 deg 2.2 mi 00:30 13:44 pace

Nice thing about running into the wind: it keeps the hair out of my face! :)

  12. walk
great 50 deg Sunny Around the Block 4.16 mi 01:08 16:23 pace

Just wanted to get some mileage in on such a beautiful afternoon. Funny how my "relaxed pace" is now what my goal pace was several years ago.

  13. RUN
    alright Treadmill - :P 1.01 mi 00:19 18:57 pace

I just cannot get comfortable on the treadmill. Used it mainly to stretch out my legs.
