  1. walk
great Around the neighborhood 1.2 mi 00:20 16:40 pace

Not a lot of time, so did the shorter neighborhood walk. It was cold, which got me moving faster (just to stay warm).

  2. walk
    good O'Melveny Park 1 mi 00:40

Not too hot, not too cold. Felt so good after going round the loop once, we went a second time.

  3. walk
    good O'Melveny Park 0.5 mi 00:20

I am estimating the distance - will fix when I have confirmed what it actually is. This is where we walk our dog. There are some steep nature trails up the hill, but my acrophobia keeps us on the m... read more

  4. walk
good Short walk today 1.2 mi 00:30 25:00 pace

Achey after yesterday, but in a good way.

  5. walk
    good 2.7 mi 01:00 22:13 pace

Not bad. It's windy today, so my dry skin aches more than my muscles.

  6. FIT
good Walked. Starting over. 1.6 mi 00:30 18:45 pace

Still breaking in the new walking shoes. Still trying to get used to arthritis in healed toe and aged knees. That sad, it wasn't bad.

  7. FIT
    Treadmill 3.6 mi 01:05 18:03 pace

Went faster than usual the first half hour and had to slow down. But I feel great.

  8. walk
    2.69 mi 00:45 16:43 pace

I needed a break from the gym, and the weather has been mild (not too hot, for a change). So I headed over to one of the few really nice parks around here for walking.

  9. FIT
    alright Treadmill 3.14 mi 01:03 20:03 pace

    Slow and steady.

  10. FIT
    alright 3.5 mi 01:03 18:00 pace

Amazed at how tired I am when I'll I'm doing is fast walking. But I know that if I push too hard too fast, it will be easier to talk myself out of doing this - so easy does it.

  11. FIT
    blah Treadmill 3.2 mi 01:00 18:45 pace

Project Metabolism Jump Start is more of a little hop than a leap, and week #2 began with a whimper and ended with first real feelings of muscle soreness.

  12. FIT
    alright treadmills 3.5 mi 01:00 17:08 pace

Why do I feel so spacey after an hour on the treadmill?

  13. FIT
    great treadmill 3.57 mi 01:05 18:12 pace

I went at a slightly faster pace for the entire hour today, while working on email and curating my Facebook pages. The hour went by really quickly, and I feel good. Mornings might be my best time o... read more

  14. FIT
    blah treadmill 3.1 mi 01:00 19:21 pace

Tried to up my game for a portion of the workout (after reading an article about intensity zones, that advised doing so for 20% of the session). I concluded I'm not ready for that. As it'... read more

  15. FIT
    good Treadmill 3.08 mi 01:00 19:28 pace

Still gearing up -- and even at this pace, it's wearing me out. But I felt pretty good afterwards, which surprised me because I thought it would take longer for those endorphins to kick in. Lo... read more
