  1. RUN
alright 13.1 on my hills 13.12 mi 01:50 08:22 pace

Took it easy, wanted some quiet time. Although it was fun racing some guy on my 12th mile. (I won.)

  2. RUN
alright 10 on my hills 10.01 mi 01:22 08:13 pace

Low to moderate effort run. Nothing major. Time for Tuesday.

  3. RUN
good Lunchtime Hamsterwhizzle 4 mi 00:32 07:54 pace

Feeling stronger and faster every day. This run felt pretty relaxing. So nice to feel like my old self and be able to look forward I Boston with excitement, not dread.

  4. RUN
alright 10 on my hills 10.01 mi 01:19 07:54 pace

Don't ever eat Fritos two minutes before your run, no matter how hungry you are. You're welcome.

  5. RUN
    good Back Bay, 13.2 13.2 mi 01:43 07:47 pace

Pushed it a little bit during some of the middle miles, which cost me later, but overall I felt pretty good.

  6. RUN
alright Back Bay with Train 4 Autism 10.03 mi 01:36 09:31 pace

Did this after my run. Slow, warm ... 10 miles to the good.

  7. RUN
alright 10 on my hills 10.01 mi 01:21 08:05 pace

Felt fine, kind of an easy run, but my heart rate was extremely high due to stress.

  8. #dailymission After a race, I love a hamburger. They had a Carls (Hardees?) truck after OKC in 2010, which was awesome.

I've done OKC twice, and I HATED the smell of the hamburgers when we passed them in the finish corral. I don't like to eat much after races though. And yeah, they were Carl's Jr.

You know what's the worst, Libby? Carlsbad, at about mile 24, you run by a Mexican restaurant and it smells SO GOOD. Oh it's causing me pain just to think about the "I want to stop NOW" feeling. Smells SO GOOD!

Jgal, unlike Libby, you are correct about the burgers.

  9. RUN
tired 6.5 on my hills 6.55 mi 00:53 08:04 pace

Legs were a little stiff from yesterday. No big deal. Content with what I got out of myself based on my effort and my fatigue level.

      awesome job sam...very impressive.

  10. #dailymission I don't have superstitions. I just have routines, primarily cutting off all food and drink two hours before gun time. Through 99 marathons and ultramarathons, I'm 97 for 99 not having... read more

Well I'm going to pace Surf City next weekend so it'll be that, but I'm thinking about my 100th marathon. As of now, Boston is going to be my 99th so I want to add one onto the schedule and let that be #100. Otherwise, it might be Utah Valley, and who wants that? :P

well, utah valley is going be the setting of the maniac reunion this year... But I still think Boston as #100 would be cooler.

    good 5 w 4 @ MP 5 mi 00:35 06:57 pace

Included 4 at MP (6:44/mile). Felt good to push a little and not be such a baby. I'll get it done in Boston. I will, I will, I will.

  12. #dailymission Well it wasn't the most valuable, but I liked it the most ... I age grouped in Mobile in 2010 and the race benefits L'Arche, a group home for developmentally-disabled adults. The age ... read more
