  1. RUN
    great 15.9 mi 02:11 08:12 pace

Out by 6:30am, 15+ miles in the books. Whole day still in front of me! Need to keep rolling with the early morning runs!

  2. RUN
    great 10.82 mi 01:40 09:15 pace

Heat and hills made it slow, but got it done.

  3. RUN
    great 10.26 mi 01:27 08:28 pace

Hot run, but went well. Decided to split up my 15 this weekend into two 10 milers on back to back days, heat on long runs has been wearing on me and mornings not an option this weekend.

  4. RUN
    good 6.15 mi

5x400 on the track. Was supposed to be 6x400, but lightning cut it short. Lunaracer 3 on feet.

Don't we always say just push through, even in harsh conditions, just in case that's what race day is like? ;-)

Easy six in the Nike Pegasus 31

  6. RUN
    great 15.1 mi 02:06 08:22 pace

Finished off the week with a solid 15. Warm out, but breeze made it manageable. Nike Pegasus 31 on the feet.

  7. RUN
    good 4x400 8.25 mi

Three mile warmup then 4x400 at 95% effort with 1600 easy between each rep. Ran the 400's in 70sec, 72, 73, 72. Almost puked on the last one, guess that's a sign of a good workout. Thanks... read more

  8. RUN
    good 8.31 mi 01:09 08:17 pace

Hot out there! NB Fresh Foam 980 on the feet.

  9. RUN
    good 8.3 mi 01:11 08:34 pace

7 miles, then 12x10sec hill repeats, 1 mile cooldown. Asics Hyperspeed 6 on the feet.

  10. RUN
    great 14.36 mi 02:07 08:48 pace

Tweaked my back climbing this morning, so kept the pace very easy. Back held up fine, but legs felt trashed.

Good to hear, back can be scary.

It's easy to tweak things climbing...especially in the gym setting. Evo with kids? They really getting into it? Glad it feels better! Nice run too :)

  14. RUN
    great 5.28 mi 00:43 08:06 pace

10x300 intervals at roughly half marathon pace or a bit faster. Didn't want to push the speed to hard after a tough week.

  15. RUN
    great 14.59 mi 02:03 08:24 pace

Twenty degrees cooler today, made for an enjoyable long run. Liking the Asics Gel Lyte33 v3!

I love the Asics Gel Electro 33 - similar shoe with a bit more stability I believe.

  16. FIT
    great Oak Hill 4 mi

After destroying myself yesterday in the heat, opted to skip a run and go for a hike with my wife instead. Two miles up to the Oak Hill Fire Tower, two miles down.

  17. RUN
    great 8.4 mi 01:23 09:53 pace

This one killed me. Hot, and tackled 4 miles of hilly switchback trails in the middle miles. Got nothing left.

  18. RUN
    2.75 mi

    5K group run

  19. RUN
    3.25 mi 00:30 09:13 pace

Felt the need to go minimal today, 3.25 very easy with the dog. Dog was bare pawed, I wore the Merrell Vapor Glove

  20. RUN

Are you still trying out the lyte 33-3's. I like the fit and softness while walking, but I feel slow in them. I am still maintaining pace, just don't feel like it. Weird?
