    good CYBER 5 mi 00:41 08:16 pace

Two miles at marathon pace, surprised Garmin didn't really alert when I ran too slowly. I think the interval workout alarm goes off your *average* pace which isn't really helpful. Will tr... read more

It's really getting dark earlier and earlier… halfway there…

  3. RUN
good Marathon Taper Final Long 12 mi 01:35 07:55 pace

Managed to screw up my Garmin so it would alarm when I ran *faster* than my goal pace. Good lord was that annoying. I basically had to speed up if I hadn't gotten a warning in the past 30 seco... read more

Nailed a 7:20 pace for the five mile marathon segment and kept the whole workout just under 7 at 7:56, so it worked out. Not easy.

good Work from Home 5.41 mi 00:52 09:38 pace

Working from home, changed into running clothes, then kept working. Finally was able to break away for an easy afternoon run, later than I'd wanted since I have a long run tomorrow morning. Oh... read more

alright Old Walnut Circle 5.41 mi 00:52 09:38 pace

Came home from work to find 6 × 30 second hill repeats on my schedule. I don't have any 30 second hills nearby so I jogged to the sledding hill and did 6 × 15 instead. Light rain started falli... read more

The 200 meter "slow jogs" between intervals eventually became "slow walks" but I survived…Hardest part was the 2 × 400 at 6:00 pace

good Long Sleeves 7.12 mi 01:03 08:49 pace

Treated this as a "dress rehearsal" for the marathon, including gels. They really helped. After last weeks' struggle to hit 7:20, aimed for 7:25 marathon pace and felt strong enough to throw in a quick 'bonus mile' at the end. Cool, misty weather helped.

  19. RUN

Couldn't sleep. Was really worried about this run, I guess. 75 ℉ at 5:30 in the morning, pretty humid, managed to hit my 6:50 target pace though. And, uh, ran an extra mile by accident?

Nice thing about this route (as opposed to Saturday's) is there's no real hills to speak of, so it's just you versus the clock. Nice breeze, too, without being pushy.
