Reeealllly didn't want to run today but knew I needed to burn off all those gummy worms I ate yesterday (130 calories in FOUR gummy worms!! Who knew?!) so on the treadmill I got. Was bored most of this run and was really just trying to get it done but these runs seem to be the meat and potatoes of training and getting stronger. Pushing through wanting to quit has been a constant theme on the runs I do without Lindsay H. so I try to save my running days for when we're together. Didn't work out that way this week though but I got a good run in anyway.
Ran the first 20 minutes at 1% incline and slowly increased it to 2% by the end of the run as well as increasing speed gradually throughout from 6.3 mph to 8 mph at the finish. Proud of myself at the end (as always) even if I have to push really hard to get there.

My back, for the most part, feels great. I'm doing WAY more core workouts than before so I think that's helping :)
