I was just looking at a half on that same day. Your's isn't in CT is it? I'm kind of nervous about it. But it's a bike path/walking trail, and I know it's pretty flat.

No, I found one in Maine that is an all women's (and "one lucky guy"). I liked that it's all women (all the fast men at my last half got into my head) and it is on the Maine's coast so it's supposed to be scenic. I haven't signed up yet. Bike path? Hmm love the idea of a flat half!

Destination race...can't wait to do some of those. When my dad was living in CT, he always went north to run the New Bedford half and the Covered Bridges (VT) Half. He enjoyed them as part of weekends away...I guess when my kids are grown...

YES!!! This is the first time I broke the 10 min pace and I creamed it! WHOO HOO! Glad I ran; I almost took today off since I was a little sore.
