Hammies a little tender from yesterday's 10k! Kept it light today, I'll go long tomorrow instead. Congrats to all those who raced today!!

motrin it up...i read an article that "dynamic stretching" for hamstrings is more prudent than "static stretching" bc your muscles will try to relax with static...google it

  2. St. Leo's 10k Race 6.29 mi / 00:42 06:40 pace

41:57. Unofficial results - this is according to my Garmin. This is a PR for me! Very pleased with the results and the race overall. Rolling hills for most of the race, nothing too nasty. Only mile 5 was a bear - that entire mile was pretty much up... read more

  3. St. Leo's 10k W/U & C/D 3.13 mi

Easy miles to warmup and cooldown ...

  4. great421 River Park Road Run 8.13 mi / 01:07 08:14 pace

Gentle run on a loop I've only run once. Did it this time in reverse. Very warm again - I think this was my 5th shirtless run in a row. May race tomorrow depending if I can find someone to watch the little one - wife has first dibs on the race :-)

  5. goodFartlek-ish Run 8 mi / 01:01 07:35 pace

Ran shirtless and still ended up with some arm chafing - ouch. Warmed up very quickly during this run - must have went up 5 degrees in 30 mins. 2 easy miles (8ish pace), 2 moderate miles (7:10 pace), 2 easy miles (8:30ish pace), 2 moderately hard mil... read more

  6. alrightGood Out-n-Back 8 mi / 01:06 08:11 pace

Easy out and back during lunch. A little warm out there - shirtless run. Second half felt better than the first. Unable to run yesterday due to work travels.

  7. blahBusy Day 13 mi / 01:53 08:41 pace

Morning run. Beer with Jamie. Raked leaves and twigs. Swept / blew out garage. Pulled weeds. Remade flower beds. Spread 40 bales of pine needles. Grocery shopping. Made dinner. Done. Whew.

  8. Raining Hills 7 mi

A shirtless, rainy run made for a lot of fun. 10x200 fast up a big ass hill, then fast 200 back down. After each 2 or 3, I did a 1/4 mile recovery jog. Pretty tired at the end as you'd expect.

Well I'd say that's a defining moment if I've seen one. Rocked it buddy!

do the downhills sometimes feel worse than the uphills...during my hill workouts - I feel like a roller-coaster, the ride clackity clack up to the top creates more anxiety than the "crazy" part. great workout...10 is a lot!

  9. Little Warmup + Hoops 1.8 mi

1.8 miles of warmup before playing hoops. I am curious though how far I run while playing basketball? It's basically 2hrs of sprints up and down the court - I run hard (I have to, I'm short). It's a few miles at least! Played very well tonight - fi... read more

I've thought the same thing. I tend to play the same way - with a lot of hustle - so I've always wanted to measure it somehow.

@Chio - oh I remember that post :-) Yes, unfortunately, it's always indoors. I must have 10 pedometers lying around the house so I'll give that a shot next week.
