Crunch Fitness recently took over my Gold's Gym and this was the first group exercise class I've taken from a Crunch instructor. I must say, it was quite disappointing. She didn't introduce herself, nor do a warm-up. There was no plan or structure to the class. The Gold's instructors always tell us what the workout is going to be (ie hills with some flat speed intervals, etc). And I could barely hear her weak attempts at instruction because the (bad) music was blaring so loudly. The only thing I could make out was an RPM number we should be at. It was so confusing. It was like she was having a workout alone.

On a personal note, my leg hurt whenever we stood up on the Spin bike to climb. Very disheartening. But after the class, I did some leg strengthening exercises which ease the pain quite a bit.

    That's too bad. I'd definitely pass on our feedback to the new management. Maybe it's just the instructor?

    Sorry to learn you had such a disappointing session Naomi. I agree with Teresa, feedback is definitely in order here and the new fitness group should be able to handle and act on constructive feedback I would think. Hopefully your next session will be much improved :)
