After 8 hours at the ballpark yesterday, I woke up super tired, sunburnt and dehydrated. I normally hate to repeat any part of a route on a run, but I didn't have it in me mentally to cover a 15-mile span so instead, I ran my usual 5-mile route 3 times. Dealt with periodic foot numbness which my chiro wanted me to take note of. At 3.75 miles my achilles started to feel sore so I stopped to stretched at which time my R glute spasmed like a charlie horse. I walked around a bit and just continued on. By the time I started the loop for the 3rd time, I was so tired, but then a mile into it I realized that I wasn't hurting anywhere. I felt the best and strongest on those last 4 miles. Ate a Hammer Gel at 5 and 10 miles. It was 55 and overcast. Sun didn't come out until the last mile.
