      I would definitely go lighter. Your body was probably trying to tell you something. And I would ask the instructor about proper form. That's another reason your back might hurt. Good work getting your workout done!!

    For the squats, I did 20 pounds instead of 10 .. I didn't really feel the burn last time. Also used 20 for the dead lift rows. Used 2 5's for everything else.

      Thanks Rob, I guess it was just sore muscle because my body is not use to weights. It's better today but now something else hurts lol What gives :)

    It was only 20 minutes. It's pretty slow for the first couple weeks while you learn the basic moves and correct form. I also did 100 squats with dumbbells this morning.

    I really like this one!! Did good except for the pushups, surprise!! Normally, I can do several pushups but not when cardio is involved :) Overall, good workout!!

      I've done so many videos that I can pretty much do it on my own. Every once in awhile I'll play the DVD just to be sure I'm using correct form. I'll be switching up my routine pretty soon so I will have to follow a program/DVD.
