Thanks Joe & Nick & Jeff. Joe, you probably took the inside lane the whole way and shaved a mile off. :)

I should probably tell my wife at some point that I'm running this race.

I may do it at some point for a training run this year...Last year, I did it and I couldn't find any water past Fontana passed the Gold Coast. It was a long walk back to the car.

Thanks Jason. I've been running in the VFFs 100% of the time since May of 2011. Trying to not wearing 'normal' running shoes ever again. Love my VFFs. I hear the kangaroo skin VFFs are best for winter, gotta look into those.

it took me a few months of build up to get to a point where I could give up my regular shoes. I ran a marathon in the VFFs this summer and it was awesome. Might try actual barefoot this spring, if I can find some non-road surfaces to run on.

Yep, its under the glass box thing mounted to the railing, right across from the bell. It's sort of easy to miss with snow on the ground. Everything is white. I almost cruised right passed the whole thing. :)
