The training program said to do an 8-15K tune up race today. Not wanting to miss any of the kids' basketball games this morning, I opted to "race" by myself. Luckily, Hannah G. agreed to pace me on her bike, so I'd feel like I had someone chasing me down the whole time. It's been a while since I've tried to do any kind of sustained run at this pace, and my lungs felt it. Thanks for pushing me, Bear; I would not have tried this hard without you :)
