Long run - take 2.
No signposts got in my way or in my head today.
Incident free run, not the prettiest of routes, but it's always good to exercise body and soul together. Stopped at the Wailing wall for some prayers, a little concerned that I'd be told off by the ladies of the wall for wearing too short a skirt, or for not bringing with money to donate to charity, but that didn't happen. All these old ladies were very impressed by my water belt (It's very clever, you can go out with water and still keep your hands free!) and by the fact that I came on foot (Imaleh, you came on foot from *where*?)
I decided that due to the time I'd bus home, which, including time spent waiting at the bus stop, took longer than the (net uphill) run there in the first place. Lesson learned: Next time I run to the OC, I'll run back again too.

Good workout!

Now this is impressive in more than one way.I can't think of a better place to run to. If I ever get to come to Jerusalem, I would love to run to the Wailing Wall for prayers to the Almighty One of Israel!. Thanks so much for sharing this run! Great job running and praying.

I wish I could have run in Israel but I walked a ton and climbed Masada. What a beautiful country. The wall ladies came up to one of our women after we left the wall part and told her she had to cover her shoulders. We were on our way out. Sounds like a great run!!!!

Running to the Center to pray-wow! May your prayers be answered for the Revealed good!! I LOVE those ladies at the wall-have some great stories about them! (now there's a shock ;-)) I feel like they're very old souls who are care taking the holiness of the place and people! So glad they were nice to you!! Amazing run ( I did walk it a few weeks ago). Great safe vacation!!
