Wow, that was a hard one today.

  10. RUN
    mini hills 0.25 km 00:02:24 15:23 pace

We were supposed to do 4 x hills, but after the first, I bowed out, it being in the dark at the edge of the park and a wee bit scary. I wasn't the only one who refused to run more than 1.

Thanks, Diana! I'm going to try and do something active (even if it's just a few pushups, planks or crunches) every day for the rest of the month. I think my running frequency/distance is going to suffer through the hot weather, so I should get into the habit of doing something regularly.

Hello back, 10 is more than 9 and that's 9 more than the majority of your country folk could do.
Great pic up there on the left. The Orange order Israel branch! ; )

We all took part in a 2km race on Friday, and that was the race shirt. Kids are looking forward to it being out the wash, so they can wear them to school tomorrow!

  14. The organisers of Thursday night's 10k have apparently now admitted that the race was too long, and measure it at 10350m. So I'm taking my 10km time down to 1:07:32, as measured by my gar... read more

Gosh. It's great they remeasured and corrected. I haven't heard about this kind of post-race change before. Any way, you did a great 10k+ race.

I want to add that I'm sooo proud of my 6yr old, who, despite taking a few walking breaks close to the start, ran the entire second half, which included the uphill section.
