    First time running since late August, I did a 1/4 mile warm up and ran a mile then finished with a walk

    Did some leg lifts before running and felt good but during the run I got a side stitch and my shins started giving me pains. I was also pretty tired by the 3rd lap

      Sounds like a good goal. Walking around the fair should count as something, it felt like I had walked 5 miles by the time I got home.

      thanks :) I did do a lot of walking, I also am changing my goal for the week to 5 miles since it doesn't seem too drastic lol

    It was extremely hot out, I was originally planning on running 1.5 miles but then I debated with myself during the run and decided I should only run 5 miles this week and try to follow the 10% rule

    It went really good I didnt feel like I was really pushing myself any harder than the last couple of days but I still was able to knock almost 40 seconds off the mile

    I didnt try incredibly hard, I lifted weights before hand and then ran I am still happy with that time.

    first time running in a long time I feel good about it but I felt a little too sore afterwards to be completely happy about it. It was nice having a running partner, @BriannaJ
