good Amelia Island - Fort Clinch S... 11.3 mi 01:54 10:05 pace
Beautiful beach run to start the vacation. However, pretty difficult to run on packed sand. Lesson learned. Oh, and sunscreen. I should have worn more of that.

good Treadmill - Intervals 5.3 mi 00:55 10:22 pace

Perhaps you ran the first two repeats too fast? 1200s might be run as either a lactate threshold workout or a VO2max workout; I'm guessing you're doing the former? If so, those 1200s are typically run at a pace 25 to 30 seconds per mile slower than your 5k race pace. VO2max intervals are typically run at a pace 10-12 seconds per mile faster than your 5k race pace, but I'd be surprised if your prpgram has you running 1200s for VO2max; for women, 800s or 1000s are more often prescribed.

Good point, Marius. This is my attempt at following the Hanson Brooks plan for beginners, but in my readings so far on it, I haven't seen a good male/female distinction. I'll have to do some more research and modify accordingly.
