great WCC Treadmill Workout Part 2 6.53 mi 01:00 09:11 pace

This one got to me a bit. Had a headache pretty much all day yesterday and still felt just a little bit "off" when I got up this a.m. The first hour went just fine, but about halfway into the second, I was feeling more stressed/tired than usual.
First 20 min - 9:31 pace
Second 20 min - about 9:14 pace
Last 20 min - 8:50 pace
Let's just say I was super hot, sweaty and dizzy after that last 20 min and had to sit down for a moment to get it together before the cool down. Probably not smart to push it, but of course I wanted to finish the thing!! Recovered pretty quickly, though and finished off with 10 min in the sauna. Avg HR 170 Max 188. Yikes. I guess I had a reason to feel dizzy!
The good news? My knee, once warmed up, felt just fine!

    Glad to hear your knee endured the run. Try not to push it too hard. I hope you are feeling better!

    Thanks Mel. I was a dope to push the pace considering I was fighting a bug. Today is the first time in a few that I actually wasn't feeling kinda crummy. So I am encouraged! The knee is, I think, going to come along fine,especially with less mileage again this week. Appreciate your encouragement!
