    Took a week break from running because of the flu. I'm kinda scared that i lost a lot of fitness.... any advice on how i should tackle day 1 again?

      When I did C25K I had to finish just that last 2 weeks and got the stomach flu so was out for week. I did my first run just saying I will do what I can. I ended up better than I thought (but if yours was respiratory then might effect you more). Go out for your run but if need to take short walks, do it. If you need to go shorter distance do it. You will be amazed how quickly it comes back.

  8. just finished week 4 day 3 of my c25k training.. the best part? ending day three in central park! 5 mins of warm up walk... 3 mins jog... 90 second walk 5 mins jog... 2 1/2 mins walk.. back to 3 mi... read more

      There's nothing that says you can't repeat week 4 (or any week) if your body is telling you it needs more time. Much better to repeat a week than get discouraged or injured because you tried too much too soon.
