    good 4.07 mi 00:40 09:44 pace

Another beautiful day. Though not the best choice for me to run mid-day and shortly after eating something heavy. Got a side cramp that lasted half of the run and some weird kink in my left ankle t... read more

  2. RUN
    good 3.14 mi 00:30 09:41 pace

Beautiful spring, almost summer-like, morning. Felt heavy at first, but legs and lungs opened up after the first mile. Overdressed, but so nice to run with the warmth of the sun again.

  3. RUN
good Recovery run 3.14 mi 00:34 10:46 pace

My body didn't want to run today, but I needed to get out to clear my head. Took it easy on the pace. A good stress relieving run. Hips feel better.

A cold front definitely would make for a better marathon! But I agree, no snow!!

Glad mother nature is cooperating today. I really enjoyed the bus trip to Lincoln a couple of years ago. Nice race, though it was cold for the start of Lincoln that year too.

    alright 6.82 mi 01:08 10:01 pace

I am jealous that it is still cold there! ;-) I love running in cold than heat and humidity. I feel like I am in middle of bon fire when running here!

We're so used to bundling up, it feels weird not to put on so many layers! A little heat is good for acclimation (if you need it). :)

Acclimation is always helpful. Plus, I look at it as a way to lose a little extra water weight. Jen B. - You know that 2 hr. pace too well. I didn't even notice that. :-)
