8x400 at 6:53 pace, 400 RI. Did a mile at 8:27 to warm up, 400s felt manageable but I cheated in the RI and walked a good portion of them. Felt good and tired by the end.

great Long 10 mi 01:24 08:24 pace
got up at 5 to get coffee, breakfast in before running. Had to delay the run so to a thunderstorm, which cut my time short. So I did 10 instead of the planned 12. Figured out a route where I could ... read more

love it when those water fountains are handy. last year when there wasn't one, i stopped to ask a neighbor for h2o from his garden hose. must say it's a good way to meet new neighbors on a sweltering day.

great Zumba 01:00
joined a friend for Zumba. Always fun. My five yr old joined in for a bit too and we both had a blast. I think she's got more rhythm than her mama does.

good treadmill 4.5 mi 00:37 08:11 pace
Quick, easy run before power sculpt. I need to get into a training plan again. I'm really seriously considering a fall marathon, or at least training for one.

Tempo 6 mi 00:47 07:53 pace
1 mile warm up, 4 mile tempo at 7:39, 1 mile cool. I might have yelled (loudly) at a guy smoking a cigar on the park reserve trail. I also might have yelled at him again when I passed him on my way... read more

Was in Richmond this weekend for a wedding so only time to squeeze in a quick easy run. Was so much fun to celebrate with old friends in Virginia. It totally made up for having to forgo a long run.

great Zumbathon 02:00
Two straight hours of Zumba was so much fun! My shins started to whine after the first hour. I guess running shoes don't make the best dancing shoes. Oh well, I had a blast!

Long outdoor 12.3 mi 01:44 08:25 pace
Started out feeling food. Side stitches around mile 9 and dragged my way through the rest. A beautiful day for a run!

Ok...I'm feeling a bit envious right now! I really wanted to do my 10 miler along the lake on this gorgeous day! Hopefully some day soon I will be back at it.

good neighborhood 6.75 mi 00:55 08:05 pace
A little under-hydrated, so I cut the run short. A nice peaceful hour of running away from home was the perfect mother's day present. :-) Now on to enjoy the day with my kiddos

good Longish outdoor 9.2 mi 01:17 08:22 pace
I ran a path with a fairly steep incline on the first mile and I think that might have set off some tendon problems for the rest of the run. Achilles hurting a bit on the right side. But nothing to... read more

Great job! Smokin' fast for your 7 yo, too. My 6 year old rocked the kid's chase. The 4 year old needed some assistance from mom but boy was he proud of his medal. Good times!
I wogged a 5K at 7 months pregnant and thought that was pretty badazz. Can't imagine running 7 minute miles. Dang!

Thanks, ladies.
Also....for my own records, I forgot to record the splits....6:58 mile one (was chasing the pregnant lady thinking I could actually stay with her), 7:13 mile two, then stopped for water and think I averaged 7:40 for the last 1.124 days ago • Like

I have a coupla pair of running shoes, too (ahem) but I agree, still better than therapy! I try to save $ using runningwarehouse.com but it does add up. Still cheaper than therapy + diabetes + heart disease + joint problems...

Great speed work. No cheating to walk if you feel like it, especially with the weather changing!
