I always get a little daunted once it's time to go more than 13.1 miles. I was happy with this run, though. I started at a reasonable pace, and felt really good until about the final mile and a half. I brought two gu's and only ate one, which was a stupid mistake (I know better). That's an ready issue to fix, so I'm going to declare this run a success.


Funny how our perceptions can change how we approach a run - I remember being daunted the first time we went out for over an hour. Looks like you are putting in some nice cross training to go with your runs this summer - great job
