Last ride before my 50-miler on Saturday. Yikes! I tested some new pants today -- just bought bike capris since it'll probably be chilly, and I only had shorts. Comfy -- nice fabric and great waistband, but I tend to prefer the padding in tri shorts to bike shorts. The ride was too short to figure out how it's going to feel 40 miles later. Decisions ... wear these or layer over shorts?
