Wow! My previous best marathon was the 2010 MCM, in 4:22:22, so this was a HUGE PR! Granted, this is a net downhill course (though it was a lot more gentle/less noticeable than the elevation chart appears) and not as tough as MCM, but still. I was nervous to go for this time (I followed an awesome pacer!), but they only had 4:10 and 4:25 groups, so I went for it. Woo-hoo!
