    intervals...i am getting speed just does not get any better...any ideas? any cross training ideas that may help?

      Intervals help me a lot with increasing speed. Hills sprints are good too, as well as doing plyometric exercises like jump squats, box jumps, high knees, etc. It takes some time too, so just keep at it!
