My first walk of any length using my walker, post diagnosis. To be honest, it was a bit scary at times, very difficult at times, and rather HOT the whole way through. But it's the longest walk I've taken in MONTHS.

Now that I know I had a tumor cracking through two of my vertebrae, right where I feel it when I walk, I'm less perturbed at myself for having a hard time walking over the past few years. I thought I was being lazy, or a baby, when I would have a hard time walking more than two or three blocks.

But there was a reason, and I need to be kind to myself while we try to get that healed and resolved.
