"fury in the flurries"

Met the "team" (Brenda and Ryan) for a speed workout. She suggested we do them on this mile long stretch of road for a change of scenery.

mile repeats down, 800m jog recovery with an 800 sprint on the way back.
~4:00 jogging recovery before we started all over.

1.75 warm up
mile 1: 5:35
800m: 2:58
mile 2: 5:26
800m: 3:01
mile 3: 5:22
.67 cool down

The road was rolling but ended in a negative elevation on the way down (mile repeats) The 800's had a positive gain. (hence the times)

Right after the warmup, I wasn't feeling like going fast today, but i guess my legs thought otherwise. I'll take it!

    I wasn't sure I wanted to run at all this morning, but my legs came around once I got going. Of course, once they realized that the snow was going to slow them done considerably they started to complain, but at that point it was too late! :) Anyway, nice run!
