I went to the local arboretum to run on the rolling gravel paths. I wanted to listen to music today and that seemed like the safest place.
The plan was 2 miles easy - 3 miles hard - 3 miles easy.
splits: 7:23, 7:27 *6:13, 6:10, 6:06* 6:50, 6:54, 6:37
The harder miles were definitely a challenge due to the terrain. I need to train there more often.

Caleb - I think you're right. But, relatively speaking, 6:50's are "easy" compared to 6:00 miles.

I like this workout...do it myself a good bit. I also find the miles after the fasties in the middle feel super easy, but are always still decently quick.
