  1. FIT
    good Elliptical/Bike 9 mi 01:00 06:40 pace

First workout day with no running. Can't say I enjoyed it but it was good to sweat - 40 min on elliptical and 20 on bike.

  2. RUN
blah NC Cannonball Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:14 10:11 pace

One of the tougher races for me this year. But I've met my goal of 4 1/2s this year and I made it through this one! I'll be scaling back on running until the end of the year and incorpora... read more

  3. RUN
good San Diego 3 mi 00:30 10:00 pace

In San Diego on business this week. Who knew it's such a great place for runners? Running at the harbor was really great -- peaceful and busy but it's like the crowds know how to stay out... read more

    good Neighborhood 11 mi 02:04 11:13 pace

Terrible pace but I was happy to be able to make it through the whole thing without my IT band screaming. Did ice and elevation15 minutes each hour for four hours the night before and that really h... read more

  5. RUN
    injured Neighborhood 1.25 mi 00:13:25 10:43 pace

IT band has gone from discomfort to pain - set out for 5 miles but I couldn't do it. Yoga yesterday probably didn't help! Will definitely do some RICE for the long run this weekend.

  6. RUN
    good Neighborhood 6 mi 01:04 10:35 pace

My park is still closed due to the flood last month so I'm kinda getting bored with this route! Still living with the IT band discomfort. So ready for the race next weekend!

  7. RUN
    good Neighborhood 5 mi 00:51 10:05 pace

Kinda bummed that the park by my work is still closed because of the last week's flooding, but I'm truckin it out close to home.

Tough run at a slow pace for some reason. Probably because I woke up at 5am to get it in.

Nice work getting up at 5 to get the run in...the run or pace isn't the hard part, it's getting up when it's still dark outside that is hard!

First yoga class ever and it was really nice. Hadn't done anything since the race so this was a great chance to stretch things out.

Congratulations on your PR Lauren!!! That's awesome! I'm with you on the heat. This summer, I have learned that I don't do well in the heat AT ALL! If it's above 80, forget it. I may as well be walking. You have worked incredibly hard this year. WAY TO GO!!!
