First workout day with no running. Can't say I enjoyed it but it was good to sweat - 40 min on elliptical and 20 on bike.

IT band has gone from discomfort to pain - set out for 5 miles but I couldn't do it. Yoga yesterday probably didn't help! Will definitely do some RICE for the long run this weekend.

Congratulations on your PR Lauren!!! That's awesome! I'm with you on the heat. This summer, I have learned that I don't do well in the heat AT ALL! If it's above 80, forget it. I may as well be walking. You have worked incredibly hard this year. WAY TO GO!!!
