Took Howie around the neighborhood. Lots of people out walking and running this evening. Pretty great weather for it, too!
This was supposed to be an 8.2 mile run, so imagine my (elated) surprise when it ended up being noticeably shorter. Soon after starting this run it became obvious that I was going to be unable to m... read more
Accidentally forgot to reset my Garmin between my first two Ragnar runs, so they ended up together on the same track.

The goal for today's run was 20 miles or 4.5 hours. Since I was pretty far ahead of schedule on the time, I allowed myself to take it a little easier on this loop (over a minute/mile slower th... read more
The middle portion of my day at Lapham. Managed to get caught in the middle of a race (had no idea it was going on). Apparently, it was the Bravado Challenge... a triathlon made up of 3.5 miles of ... read more
Last long run day before the Kettle Fun Run, so I wanted to mimic race conditions by doing a ski trail, Ice Age, ski trail sandwich. Broke each into it's own separate run on the Garmin, but it... read more

Thanks MJ! Sorry we didn't get a chance to hang out at Ragnar. I kept my eyes peeled for an inflatable Spiderman mallet, but just never saw one.

My coach always tells me it takes a lot longer than that for them to forget how to run. Also, SPEED DEMON.
